These treated feather edge slats are exactly what you need to create a great looking, sturdy, long lasting feather edge component fence. Available in two sizes depending on the required finished fence height, these boards measure 125mm wide with 30 boards required per 3 metre bay with a slight overlap. Sold in either a 1650mm or 1050mm height. 

Which height do you require?

Use the 1650mm size when constructing a 1800mm (6 foot) feather edge fence (coupled with a 150mm 3 metre gravel board)

Use the 1050mm size when constructing a 1200mm (4 foot) feather edge fence (coupled with a 150mm 3 metre gravel board)

Timber Products

Most timber products are prone to warping, cracking, twisting, splitting and weathering, however this is NOT a manufacturing fault but a natural process that can occur
when the moisture content in the wood changes unevenly, usually due to seasonal changes, weather and air humidity. Timber has a natural tolerance in terms of how much it can expand and contract and the timber will normally return to its previous form when the weather stabilises. AWBS also recommend that new pressure treated timber products are not painted, treated or primed when new as this can cause issues with warping, cracking and peeling. The wood should be left a number of months to completely dry out before any product is applied.
