An essential addition when building a featheredge fence, these sturdy ready notched treated posts are designed to be used in conjunction with triangular arris rails. Available in two different sizes, these capped posts are made from kiln dried redwood timber and are pressure treated for a longer life. The notches in the posts ensures your arris rails sit flush with the post and helps to create a strong, great looking fence. Available in a 2400x125x100mm or a 1800x125x100mm size.

Timber Products

Most timber products are prone to warping, cracking, twisting, splitting and weathering, however this is NOT a manufacturing fault but a natural process that can occur
when the moisture content in the wood changes unevenly, usually due to seasonal changes, weather and air humidity. Timber has a natural tolerance in terms of how much it can expand and contract and the timber will normally return to its previous form when the weather stabilises. AWBS also recommend that new pressure treated timber products are not painted, treated or primed when new as this can cause issues with warping, cracking and peeling. The wood should be left a number of months to completely dry out before any product is applied.
