AWBS Exclusive paving range
If you’re looking for an affordable patio solution, our AWBS Exclusive paving range provides excellent value all year round. Options include natural stone and porcelain paving slabs in 13 different styles, from vibrant shades such as Coastal Mix to earthy tones like Meadow Blend.
Paving comes in mixed project packs, with many styles also sold as individual slabs for smaller projects. Every paving pack includes a free tub of Joint-It jointing compound – 20kg of Joint-It Simple with natural stone packs (worth £57.79) or 12.5kg of Joint-It Elite with porcelain packs (worth £47.35). Decorative gravel offers
Decorative gravel is a practical and long-lasting way to add colour and texture to your garden. Naturally permeable, it allows rainwater to drain away easily, helping to prevent pooling. At AWBS, you can choose from more than 30 types of decorative gravel, cobbles and pebbles for driveways, pathways, garden borders, ponds and water features.
Our range includes a variety of colours and textures, making it easy to find a style to suit your taste. Browse shingle, flint and granite through to slate chippings and polished round pebbles. Many products are also locally sourced, including Oxford gravel and Cotswold chippings.
This spring, as part of our Easter gardening offers, most 23kg bags of decorative gravel are available on our 5 for the price of 4 deal. For larger jobs, we can also supply gravel products in 450kg half bags and 850kg bulk bags. Selected bulk bags also include a free 1m x 15m Groundtex weed control membrane to help keep gravel areas neat, and maintenance minimal.
Building products for landscaping and construction
Alongside landscaping materials, we also stock a comprehensive range of building essentials. From bricks, blocks and drainage supplies to cement and construction aggregates, everything you need to build strong foundations and structures is available in branch at competitive prices.
For example, when installing a patio or driveway, a solid base is crucial. MOT Type 1 hardcore is commonly used to create a compacted foundation layer, with jumbo bulk bags currently held at the same price as 2024 – just £55.92 each! For smaller projects, we can supply 23kg bags of aggregates and building materials instead, many included in our 5 for the price of 4 offer.
Once the base is prepared, a mortar mix of building sand and cement can be used to secure paving slabs. We currently have 23-25kg bags of both available for less than £10 each.
New in: C24 construction timber
New for 2026, we’ve also just launched a selection of C24 strength-graded construction timber from MDM Timber. This kiln-dried softwood is designed for structural applications like floor joists, stud walls, roof structures, decking frameworks and timber framing. Pressure-treated and resistant to rot, moisture and insects, C24 timber is suitable for both internal and external builds. Choose from a range of sizes, with individual planks priced from just £3.91.

Tafs Standard Lap panels are a popular and cost-effective option for creating a simple garden divide. A durable, low-maintenance alternative to timber, composite decking combines natural woodgrain aesthetics with materials that resist warping, rot and staining. New for 2026, we now stock composite decking from NewTechWood and Composite Prime.
The NewTechWood UltraShield Essentials range features lightweight boards with a reversible woodgrain finish, hidden-fix installation and a 10-year warranty, with prices starting from £28.80 per board. Composite Prime offers two stylish options: the Elements range, which delivers the natural warmth of hardwood with modern PVC technology, and the Redux range, featuring solid boards with rich woodgrain textures in a host of contemporary colours.

Affordable timber sleepers
Timber sleepers are a simple and versatile way to add structure and definition to your garden, from raised beds to retaining walls and lawn edging. We stock various designs, including softwood and oak hardwood sleepers and cheap railway sleepers for more traditional settings.
Alongside our other Easter gardening offers, we’re offering 10% off all single 2.4m softwood sleepers, with even bigger savings available when buying full packs. Available in green treated or brown finishes, these pressure-treated sleepers are hardwearing yet easier to handle than many reclaimed alternatives.
