New AWBS Distribution Centre Now Open!
We’re thrilled to announce that our new distribution centre in Eynsham, Oxford, is now open. The large warehouse near Witney is now our main distribution centre, and the expanse of space means we can keep even more of our wide range of building supplies and landscaping supplies in stock, for direct delivery to our customers.
Landscaping and building materials delivered fast and efficiently
All of our vehicles are tracked, so we can establish a more effective routing system, which means we get to our customers on time. We’ve also extended our delivery times, with our fleet leaving the new AWBS distribution centre as early at 6am, returning by 5pm so we can load up ready to go again the following day.
Revamping our new building and landscaping supplies site
As part of the redevelopment of the site, we demolished an old workshop and concreted the area to increase our storage space. We also invested £12,000 in new energy efficient lighting in our warehouse, as part of our commitment to environmentally friendly solutions and reducing our carbon footprint. We’ve also heightened security at our new distribution centre with boundary fencing, added new forklifts and have a fully equipped office that allows us to receive orders directly from our AWBS branches.

Future developments for AWBS
Opening the Eynsham site as our distribution centre is phase one of a two-phase development for AWBS Building & Landscaping Supplies. Next year, we’ll have new offices built at the site and it will become our group’s main headquarters. We’ll also be redesigning our offices to accommodate trade sales and will continue to expand our team of knowledgeable staff members. During the busy seasons, we’ll look at further extending our hours to allow even more capacity for deliveries.
